Ramsey was one of those bloggers I really wanted! Needless to say I was pretty giddy when she said she would do a post for us. She's a law student at Florida State and brings the perfect fashion perspective we need on this blog. Hope you LOVE Ramsey just as much as I do. (Her blog is is called "Love, Ramsey" so that was me being clever.) Enjoy!

Hello Jane Meets Turner readers! Ashley invited me here today to post a little about dressing in the professional world. So without further ado, I would like to introduce you to my newest office(cial) fave, the lace pencil skirt. Here are three ways to pencil this little darling into your spring work wardrobe. Don't worry, I could come up with office puns all day long.
Skirt: The Limited, Blazer: Vintage, Shoes: Steve Madden, Camisole: Gap, Flower Brooch: DIY, Belt: F21, Bracelet: c/o Sparkle
Look #1: Anything But Vanilla
Just because you are in the business world doesn't mean you have to sell out to the world of black pants suits (Not that there's anything wrong with them...but honestly...they get real boring real fast.) This feminine take on the suit would totally work for a meeting or professional dinner without sacrificing those girly spring colors we love!
Shirt: Old Navy, Belt: J.Crew, Shoes: c/o Frock Candy, Earrings and bracelet: c/o Sparkle, Chain bracelet: F21, Watch: c/o Mimi's
Look #2: Nautical Your Everyday Working Girl
Here the same skirt is dressed down a bit, making it perfect for those days of getting down to business and cranking out your best work. A soft, nautical tee, loose pony, and wedges keep it light and comfy without losing points for style.
Shirt: JCPenny, Shoes: F21, Belt: Thrifted, Bracelets: DIY, Watch: c/o Mimi's
Look #3: Friday Chambray
Ahhh...the favorite shirt. I honestly wear this little bit of heaven almost once a week. Don't judge me. It goes with everything and is probably the most comfortable things I own. So why not pair it up with a lace skirt and oxfords for a casual Friday look that is perfect for kicking off the weekend.
Okie dokie...now I hope I have you all convinced that a lace skirt is absolutely necessary in your very near future. Or at least given you some ideas on how to juice up your office wear for spring. Have a wonderfully happy day!
Love,
Ramsey
